As a Windows operations specialist, your responsibilities will encompass daily operations and maintenance of the Windows servers platform, offering support at the 2nd and 3rd levels, and adhering to ITIL Change management processes. The team operates 24x7 and collaborates with colleagues from various locations globally to ensure seamless service delivery. While the base is in Brno with standard business hours, occasional flexibility for patch service windows and participation in on-call duty rotations will be required. Your responsibilities As a Windows Server specialist at Aeven, you will collaborate closely with other service lines within our IT Operations Services division and external 3rd party vendors. This collaborative effort encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from managing infrastructure and applications to orchestrating and providing comprehensive support for our customers' IT solutions. Your role will involve a broad range of tasks, including: The role involves comprehensive Microsoft server operations, covering daily operations, critical incident management, problem management, and change management. You'll be responsible for enterprise-level patching and patch management for Microsoft servers, ensuring continuous security patch rollouts for our customers' Windows servers. Collaboration with relevant stakeholders will be crucial in assessing, coordinating, and orchestrating security patch cycles. Additionally, you will manage package rollouts using our system management tools, using HPSA. Experience in scripting with PowerShell will also be essential for this role. Performing cross-technological troubleshooting and root-cause analyses, actively participating in task forces, and handling Major Incidents. Engaging in challenging and complex assignments daily, while considering criticality factors, regulatory requirements, and audits. On ad hoc basis, present your changes in Energinet CAB Your qualification and experience At least 3 years of experience with Windows OS You are experienced in AD and PKI is a plus. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Security patch management on an enterprise level. At least some experience in technologies and tools such as Hyper-V, VMware, and HPSA (Server Management Tool) Understanding of general process frameworks (ITIL) Solid experience with processes such as Incident-, Problem-, and Change handling. You are a professional in English, both spoken and written. Are certified in ITIL, Windows OS (2012, 2016, 2019 and 2022) and enhanced technologies. It is an advantage if you: have advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD., DNS, ServiceNow, SCCM, TSM As an operation specialist, it's essential that you understand your role and actively participate in daily routines within your department.
