We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Specialist who wishes to develop the test automation area related to the entire software controlling 3Shape’s top-of-the-range scanner systems. You will be part of an innovative and agile team that works in a stimulating environment in close cooperation with electronics, optics, and mechanical specialists. The team’s primary responsibility is embedded and non-embedded software for 3D scanner systems (wired and wireless). You will develop an in-depth understanding of our scanner systems to ensure our continuing position as a global leader in the dental scanner industry. We simply think and work in an agile way. Your Role Together with your team, you will develop the test automation area with the latest versions of our core technologies. You will make sure that the scanner system stays ahead of the competition, and you will drive test development of the central core modules to ensure that the full scanner system works flawlessly across our products. Your Responsibilities Automate release testing to ensure high product quality and reliability. Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites. Apply AI-assisted techniques to improve test automation and test design. Develop and maintain test setups for validation against hardware. Monitor CI pipelines, investigate failures, create defects, and coordinate with the team to resolve issues. Perform exploratory testing to uncover unexpected defects and edge cases. Conduct targeted testing of new features and functionality. In close cooperation with software, optical, electrical and mechanical engineers develop the next versions of our scanner. We value humor and a positive spirit Your Profile Educated as a M.Sc. computer science, software engineering, or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience in the Test Automation - designing and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks. Programming skills in one or more object-oriented languages, preferably with experience in C# and python Mindset for quality, reliability and maintainability. Strong interest in testing low-level software and system-level functionality. Experienced with Windows and/or Linux technologies. Experienced using AI-assisted tools and techniques to support test automation, test design, and analysis, with a focus on reliability and quality.
