About the job At DEIF, we specialise in the development and manufacturing of electronic solutions that control, distribute, and optimise power from multiple energy sources such as wind, solar, diesel generators, and batteries. In this role, you will work with assembly, wiring, and testing of switchgear and control cabinets, based on electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. You will be involved throughout the process - from implementation of technical documentation to functional testing and commissioning at our headquarters, and occasionally also on-site at customer installations. You will play an active role in troubleshooting, fault analysis, and corrective actions, ensuring that our solutions meet high standards for reliability and safety. At the same time, you will contribute to continuous improvements by supporting optimisation of switchgear designs, workflows, and internal processes. Close collaboration with engineering, design, and other technical departments is a natural part of the job, where dialogue, knowledge-sharing, and joint problem-solving help ensure robust and future-proof solutions. The job is located in our headquarters in Skive. What you’ll bring You have completed vocational training as an Industrial Electrician, Electronics Technician for Industrial or Energy Systems, or hold a similar technical qualification. You bring several years of experience from an industrial environment, preferably within switchgear or control cabinet manufacturing. You are confident working from electrical schematics and technical drawings and have a solid understanding of relevant electrical standards and safety regulations. You approach your work in a structured and independent manner, take ownership of your tasks, and deliver with a high level of accuracy and reliability. Experience with development or adjustment of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams is an advantage - ideally using EPLAN. As a person, you thrive in a team-based environment, communicate clearly across disciplines, and contribute positively to collaboration. Since English is used in documentation and cooperation with international colleagues, you are comfortable communicating professionally in English.
