Some already know their favourite beer. Some are curious and want to try something new. Some are buying a gift, grabbing something for dinner or simply stopping by while exploring Torvehallerne. Your job is not to know everything about beer from day one. It’s to make people feel welcome and help them leave with something they’re excited about. At Mikkeller Bottleshop Torvehallerne, we’re looking for a new part-time team member to join us, around 20 hours a week Located in the middle of one of Copenhagen’s busiest and most visited food destinations, our bottleshop is a place where locals, tourists and regulars meet every day. We carry Mikkeller beers, of course, but that’s only part of the story. Our shelves are built around variety, curiosity and finding something for everyone - whether that’s craft beer, alcohol-free options or simply helping guests discover something new. You do not need to be a beer nerd to apply. We can teach you about beer. What matters more is that you enjoy meeting people, creating good experiences and being part of a team that takes hospitality seriously without taking itself too seriously. What the role actually looks like This is a hands-on role where guest interaction is at the centre of the day. You’ll welcome guests into the shop, help them navigate the selection and create an experience that feels approachable and personal rather than overwhelming. You’ll help keep the space looking great, make sure shelves stay stocked and support the daily rhythm that keeps everything running smoothly. Torvehallerne moves quickly and every day looks a little different. Some shifts are calm and conversational, others are busy with people passing through from opening until closing. We’re looking for someone who enjoys that energy and contributes positively to it. Who we’re looking for You enjoy being around people and naturally create a welcoming atmosphere. You don’t need previous beer knowledge, but you’re curious and interested in learning. Experience from retail, hospitality, cafés, restaurants or customer-facing roles is an advantage, but not essential. You notice what needs doing and take responsibility without needing constant direction. You’re comfortable talking to guests, enjoy working in a busy environment and speak English confidently, as both our team and our guests come from everywhere. What we offer You’ll become part of Mikkeller and work in one of Copenhagen’s most vibrant locations. This is a part-time position with shifts across weekdays and weekends.
