Senior Software Architect - Rezilient Products What if your code helped protect the energy infrastructure that millions of people depend on every day? As a Senior Software Architect at Systematic, you'll shape the technical backbone of two products at the forefront of critical infrastructure security — and make decisions that matter. The job You'll own the architectural design and technical vision for our Rezilient product portfolio, which includes SITE, our marine coordination platform used by major offshore wind operators worldwide, and Rezilient Asset Protection, which enables early threat detection and coordinated response for energy sector customers. Your work spans roughly half new development and half continuous improvement — balancing strategic thinking with hands-on technical delivery. In short, you can look forward to: • Designing and evolving software architectures that meet rigorous requirements for security, scalability, and performance • Developing and maintaining a technical roadmap that guides how our products grow over time • Leading larger features in collaboration with the Product Manager, guiding the team through development to ensure solutions meet product and system requirements • Monitoring quality attributes at programme level and taking corrective action when standards aren't met • Identifying competency gaps and proposing pragmatic, well-reasoned technology choices • Driving automation and AI adoption in our processes and products. Joining the team You'll be part of a 16-person cross-functional product team that includes testers, a test manager, a UX designer, and developers — a mix of seniority levels and nationalities, with colleagues in both Aarhus and Bucharest. The work sits within our National Security & Infrastructure business unit, one of Systematic's most strategically significant growth areas. The products you'll work on protect real critical infrastructure: from offshore wind farms to physical access systems, camera surveillance, and drone detection at large installations. You'll work closely with a Solution Architect and with other senior developers, and you'll be expected to hold your ground with strong stakeholders — while staying genuinely open to technical sparring. You can read more about our National Security & Infrastructure business unit and our SITE product here: LINK Your qualifications • You hold a master's degree in software engineering, or a bachelor's degree combined with substantial relevant experience and certifications. • You bring at least six years of experience as a Software Architect, and have a track record of designing robust, production-grade software systems. You're proficient in Java, Angular, Docker, Microsoft Azure, KeyCloak, WildFly, and SQL Server, and you're experienced with API-based product development and plug-in architecture. You can translate user needs into clear solution designs and communicate them at the right level of abstraction for technical and non-technical stakeholders alike. • You're independent, proactive, and confident in your decisions — including when those decisions are challenged. You're also genuinely curious, and you enjoy exchanging knowledge with peers and growing your expertise. Experience with Agentic AI is something we'd love you to bring and build on together with the team. • Fluent English is required. Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or EU country for the past seven years, as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.
