Ambu is looking for a highly qualified Senior IT Project Manager who can shape and drive execution of projects with high business impact and IT complexity across our global organization! We are expanding the team and opening a new position to further strengthen our project delivery capabilities. You will join the Project Management Office (PMO) in a global IT organization, delivering on prioritized initiatives within Ambu’s project portfolio. Our projects span the entire value chain, from R&D to Operations, Sales and Marketing, as well as corporate functions. You will report directly to the Senior Director for Project & Portfolio Management within Global IT and work out of Ambu’s headquarters in Ballerup. In this role, your contact base is broad and will include senior management, process owners, key users, IT experts, external partners, and other stakeholders contributing to project outcomes. Ability to establish credibility across a broad stakeholder map is key to success. Key responsibilities As Senior Project Manager, you will have a vital role in shaping and leading prioritized initiatives, directly linked to Ambu objectives. Your main responsibilities include: Driving initiation of projects and forming efficient project teams together with key stakeholders, including recommended delivery models, co-delivered by team members across Ambu Develop committed milestone plans, securing clarity on cross-functional resource allocation and collaboration rhythms, incl. project governance Setting and maintaining crisp alignment on expectations, driving for project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, resolving issues and ensuring projects stay on track towards sought outcomes Establishment and facilitation of agreed project approach for design authority, ensuring clarity on architectural decisions (process, data, technology) within project boundaries Moreover, you will join Ambu at an exciting time, where we are embarking on several transformational initiatives targeting to build a foundation for future long-term, scalable growth with substantial impact on current operating model. Selected examples of projects ongoing or being shaped here and now include (but not limited to): Enhance the IT application landscape to enable a more efficient global organisation, e.g., through defining and executing on the roadmap for our ERP-suite Continue to invest in capabilities to support customer-driven innovation with design-to-value, software and new product technologies, incl. AI and use of data Suggested candidate profile Skills and experiences can be earned in many ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you identify with some of the following specifications: You possess around 8+ years of experience working as a Project Manager within IT, including a solid project management toolbox for relevant project management disciplines You have solid experience delivering IT projects within GxP regulated environments and are comfortable navigating the expectations, documentation practices, and decision making that come with working in a regulated context Experience working on transformation projects within ERP environments and/or digital solutions You are educated with a master’s degree in a relevant field, ideally with a further certification such as Prince2, PMP, SAFe, Scrum or equivalent Excellent presentation and communication skills with a strong ability to articulate and simplify technical concepts, to clearly communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, incl. senior stakeholders and executive sponsors You have a proven ability to design and implement large structures in complex stakeholder setups, coordinate effectively with people and processes, and maintain a positive, balanced focus and high-level overview You are fluent in English, both spoken and written, and enjoy engaging with others and building strong relationships in a global, cross-national environment You can adapt to change in fast-paced environments and can handle multiple workstreams and projects simultaneously As Ambu is a global company and your projects often are global, you can expect to travel up to 20 days per year.
