At Arla, we are looking for an APS Excellence Manager to help continuously improve and strengthen the Arla Performance System (APS) across our global production network. You will join the Global Operational Excellence and Digital Transformation TMO team in Supply Chain - an international team working with operational excellence, digital transformation, standards, and capability building across 50+ production sites. How you will make an impact? As our APS Excellence Manager, you will play a key role in continuously improving and maturing the Arla Performance System (APS), helping ensure it remains practical, scalable, and valuable for production sites across our global network. Working closely with production teams, and central functional experts, you will help strengthen standards, ways of working, and best practice deployment across Arla’s Supply Chain organization. Your responsibilities will include Supporting the development and continuous improvement of APS standards, templates, and operational best practices Maintaining and improving the structure, quality, and usability of APS documentation and operational knowledge repositories Collaborating with sites and functional stakeholders to gather feedback, identify improvement opportunities, and strengthen adoption of APS Supporting harmonized implementation of APS across markets and production sites, incorporating learnings from assessments, audits, and operational benchmarks Helping drive capability building and engagement through training materials, super-user networks, and community activities Supporting the development of KPIs, maturity assessments, and reporting related to APS adoption and operational excellence Contributing to the expansion of APS into adjacent operational areas such as Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Planning, and Sustainability Working with digital and operational teams to improve tools and enablers supporting operational excellence and standardization What will make you successful? We imagine that the ideal candidate brings solid experience in operational excellence and continuous improvement, combined with a collaborative and user-centric mindset. As APS is an internal Arla system, we do not expect prior knowledge of it. Instead, we value experience with similar approaches or tools - such as another production management system - and the ability to translate that experience into our context. We are looking for an ambitious new member for our TMO who possesses A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. 3-5 years of experience working with operational standards and continuous improvement in manufacturing or supply chain. Strong knowledge of Lean principles, standard work, and best practice deployment - ideally with exposure to multi-site or global rollouts. Proven ability to engage stakeholders across shopfloor, market, central functions, and senior leadership levels. Experience in change management, training, and adoption support. Analytical skills to develop KPIs and maturity assessments. Fluency in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
