The Italian Trade Agency is looking for an Assistant Trade Analyst to support its activities in Denmark and work closely with the team at its Stockholm office. The position is based at the Italian Embassy in Hellerup, Copenhagen. This is initially a 3-month consultancy assignment with an immediate start, with good opportunities for extension and potential permanent employment with the Italian Trade Agency. About the Italian Trade Agency: The Italian Trade Agency works to promote and develop business relations between Italy and Denmark. The agency provides support and guidance to Italian companies and organizations looking to develop their activities in the Danish market. This includes helping companies identify potential business partners, explore new products and services, understand market opportunities, and establish new business activities. About the role: As Assistant Trade Analyst, you will have the opportunity to use a broad range of skills, from research and analysis to administration, communication, and networking. Your main responsibilities will include: Supporting the Trade Analysts at the Stockholm office in organizing promotional events, trade fairs, and business initiatives in Denmark, Norway, and Finland. Contacting Danish business operators and Italian companies by phone and email to facilitate and promote business relations. Maintaining and updating databases and lists of local business operators and relevant stakeholders. Collecting and compiling statistics related to Italian-Danish foreign trade. Preparing press releases covering relevant economic developments and events. Preparing sector-specific reports and briefings on key industries and areas of economic activity. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with an educational background and/or professional experience related to business, economics, international trade, or a similar field. Most importantly, you are motivated, curious, and comfortable working independently. You know how to find and assess relevant information and are able to quickly familiarize yourself with new systems, industries, and tasks. In addition, we are looking for someone who: Has professional proficiency in both Italian and English, written and spoken. This is a requirement for the position. Knowledge of Danish is considered an advantage, but not a requirement. Has an educational background and/or work experience within economics, business, international trade, or a related field. Is comfortable using the main Microsoft Office applications and social media platforms. Has strong communication, research, and organizational skills. Does this sound interesting?
