In this role you will get the chance to work on both Operational and ICT risk, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to technology and operational risk across our organisation. This role operates within the Second Line of Defence and reports jointly to the Head of Operational Risk and the Global Information Security Officer. We offer a hybrid work model for our employees to allow for flexibility and productivity. However, we do expect you to spend most of your time in the office to build community and efficiency in the team. Exciting work is waiting for you Support development and implementation of ICT and Operational risk management frameworks and policies. Facilitate, and maintain risk management processes and tools across ICT and Operational risk domains. Identify, classify, and analyse operational risk events, including ICT-related incidents. Design, enhance and help automate ICT and Operational risk reporting with strong focus on using data, analytics and technology to improve efficiency, consistency and insight. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits of IT systems, processes, and vendors. Conduct second-line assurance reviews, produce independent risk opinions, and track remediation of identified control gaps. Support DORA implementation, ongoing compliance monitoring and evidence production. Monitor emerging ICT threats and vulnerabilities, recommending proactive measures. Collaborate with IT, security, compliance, and business teams to manage risk exposure. Prepare and deliver risk reports and recommendations to senior management. Things we’ll look for on your resume To be the ideal candidate you hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Risk Management, or a related field, and bring at least 3 years of proven experience in ICT risk management, IT security, operational risk, or a similar role. You have a strong understanding of ICT and operational risk frameworks, IT governance, and compliance standards within regulated financial institutions, along with a good knowledge of DORA and third-party and outsourcing regulations; familiarity with MiCAR would be an advantage. You demonstrate the ability to design risk data collection processes, applying both quantitative and qualitative techniques to identify risk trends and translate them into clear, actionable insights. Experience with data aggregation and analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is considered an asset, as is practical experience applying AI tools to risk management tasks, with the ability to critically assess AI-generated outputs. Exposure to the payments industry would be beneficial, though not essential. Finally, you bring excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
