As we expand our portfolio, we are looking for a Financial Accountant & Controller to join our finance team and play a key role in ensuring accurate bookkeeping, financial control, and reporting across our project companies. Your Responsibilities Accounting BeGreen operates a well-functioning Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP system with a high degree of automation. Your role will include maintaining and expanding the automation of invoice handling, and managing the interface with the Procurement team to ensure that purchase orders (POs) are correctly reflected in automatically posted invoices. You frequently follow up on invoices out for approval and make sure invoices are processed and paid within the agreed payment terms You will be responsible for reconciling the accounts (A/P and A/R) and ensuring that the books are complete and reconciled in time for monthly reporting You frequently follow up bank accounts related to your portfolio of companies, and make sure there is enough funds to coming payments. Controlling & Reporting You will be responsible for your own portfolio of tasks, including quality assurance of ongoing bookkeeping, internal and external reporting, VAT and excise duty filings, calculation of taxable income, and preparation of material for the internal stakeholders like project managers, the Board of Directors, the auditors etc. Project Follow-Up For your portfolio, you will be responsible for ongoing project and budget follow-up with the development team for our assets, including variance analyses, to ensure the quality of our budget and liquidity forecasts. Process Optimisation You will contribute to the implementation and optimisation of processes, templates, and digital solutions, with a particular focus on leveraging AI and automation. About You We imagine you will recognise yourself in several of the following: At least 3 years of relevant experience from a finance function or as an auditor A completed relevant education in accounting or finance Experience from an asset-focused business, preferably within the renewable energy sector Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Business Central is required You are ready to work as part of a team — we are a small group where we support each other, pitch in when needed, and ask for help when we need it Strong communication skills in both Danish and English, written and spoken You hold a valid Danish work- and residence permit Personal Qualities Structured, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for your deliverables A team player who actively contributes to a positive and social workplace culture Motivated by professional challenges and eager to keep learning You enjoy tasks that require attention to quality, and you take pride in finding solutions to new challenges How to Apply Please press the button below and fill in the application form We look forward to hearing from you.
