OT Operations Engineer - Eurowind Energy OT Operations Engineer OT systems need to run - every day, across assets, technologies and environments. As OT Operations Engineer, you will work hands on with the operational backbone that keeps our wind, solar and BESS assets connected, monitored and available. We are looking for an OT Operations Engineer who wants to work close to OT systems in practice, support daily operations, and build experience within operational technology in a growing renewable energy company. The role As OT Operations Engineer, you will support the stable and reliable operation of OT environments across Eurowind Energy’s portfolio of energy producing and energy storage technologies. Your work will be closely tied to day to day operations, where you help ensure that systems, procedures and technical setups work as intended. You will be involved in operational activities that directly impact availability and production and will work closely with more experienced colleagues to troubleshoot issues, execute updates and maintain documentation. Your everyday work Your tasks will be practical and execution focused and span both operational and project related activities. In practice, you will: Support stable operation of OT environments across wind, solar and BESS assets Support commissioning and onboarding of OT systems and infrastructure Perform operational troubleshooting and root cause analysis in OT environments Execute firmware deployments, updates and rollback activities following approved procedures Execute backup and restore procedures for OT systems and components Maintain OT asset inventory, system visibility and technical documentation Support monitoring of OT operational performance and availability Support standardisation initiatives across OT environments Support operational deployments across assets and technologies Collaborate with colleagues and vendors during operational activities and incidents You will not be expected to define standards or architecture on your own - instead, you will help apply and execute established procedures and practices in real operational scenarios. You will work closely with colleagues across OT Operations, OT Engineering and IT Operations in a pragmatic, hands on environment. Tasks are often solved through close dialogue, shared troubleshooting and learning by doing. The team works with short feedback loops, practical problem solving and a strong focus on keeping systems running. You will receive support and sparring from more experienced OT profiles while gradually taking ownership of operational tasks. Your profile We are looking for a technically curious and hands on OT operations profile who wants to build experience within operational technology. Professional competencies Experience with OT, industrial automation or technical infrastructure environments Basic understanding of OT/ICS systems such as SCADA, PLCs, controllers, HMIs and industrial networks Understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA or MQTT is an advantage Understanding of operational troubleshooting and technical support processes Experience with infrastructure maintenance, operational support or technical operations Educational background within engineering, industrial automation, IT or equivalent practical experience Experience from renewable energy or industrial environments is considered an advantage How you work Hands on and operational in your approach Structured and pragmatic when working with technical tasks Comfortable working in operational and sometimes time critical environments Curious and motivated to learn and develop your OT skills Solution oriented when troubleshooting issues Able to collaborate across teams and technical disciplines What we offer You will join a growing OT area in a fast moving renewable energy company, where stable OT operations are essential to delivering green power.
